Birth of the Twin Cubs

Atton Rand made it to the door to home that very evening.

He was so looking forword to greeting his wife, Marina who has been
pregnant with their twins for nine months.

The moment he stepped into the front door, their brown cat guardian, Chika,
came running fast and towards him.

"{Atton, you're back!! Thank the Force You returned home!!}" Chika yelled.
"{Marina is in labor and is Ready to give birth!}:

"She's in labor?" Atton's jaw dropped. "For how long?"

"{About seven hours" Chika replied. "I would had called you before, but Marina said that
wanted you to come home in one piece}"

"Whear's Marina?" Atton asked. Before Chika could answear, They heard a loud
screaming coming from the master bedroom He and Marina shared.

Chika looked up at Atton "{Does that answear your question, 'Daddy'?}" She asked.

Atton followed the cat guardian to the  bedroom.

Meanwhile in the master bedroom, Marina Doshi Rand, was laying in bed,
breathing heavily.

Her light blond hair was drenched in cold sweat.

She was wearing her pink nightshirt while the lower half of her body were beneath the
light-weight grey blanket.

Then She was screaming in pain as the contraction hit her hard.
Chika and Atton can running in.

Atton came to his wife's bedside and held her hand with both of his.

She looked and smiled. "Welcome home, Atton." She said. "How was work today?"

"Oh, nothing much," Atton replied while planting a kiss on her sweet pink lips.
"I just glad to be home with you and for the arrival of our cubs."

Marina smiled and nodded, Then felt another wave of contractions hitting her, It was
like lightning ramdomly striking her everywhere.

Atton was going his best to keep her calm. rubbing a hand gently on her belly.
The twins are without doubt ready to be delivered into the outside world.

The green twi-lek female came to the bedroom with hot water and some clean towles.
She spotted Atton sitting at Marina.

"Why, you must be her husband, Atton Rand," She said. "I can see that you
looking forward to witnessing the birth of your twins."

"That too," Atton Replied. "I'm also here because I want to be there for Marina as she will be needing
someone to keep her comfortble while she in labor, Who are you by the way?"

"Well, I'm Doctor Savannah Hika," The twi-lek replied shaking hands with Atton.
"I been called here to help deliver the twins."

Savannah went to check on the state of Marina's dilation, then she nodded.

"Okay, Mrs. Rand, It seems that you are fully dilated," Dr. Hika noted.
"And ready for the twins to come out."

"You won't get any arguement from anyone about that." Marina said.

"When I say 'push', you take a deep breath and bear down as much as you could." Marina nodded
while anxiously prepairing herself to push her baby twins out through the birth canal.

"Push" She said.  Then Marina began breathing, and then started bearing down hard as possable.
She once again took a few breaths and beared down, pushing the first baby into the outside world.

"You're doing great, Sweetheart." Atton said encouragingly, hold her hand."Just keep pushing."

While squeezing Atton's hand, Marina continued to bear down until the first twin came out and
uttered out it's first cry.

"It's a boy." Dr. Hika said, cleaning off the baby. She then clamped and cut the umbilical cord.
Dr. Hika then wrapped the baby in the light blue blanket and handed him to Atton.

The twi-lek doctor prepaired to deliver another twin. "There is a second baby ready to come out,"
Savannah said. "I like you to give me few more pushs for and we're done."

Marina began breathing, and then started bearing down again, She was feeling light-headed and woozy,
But she refused to let that tire her out as she kept pushing.

After giving one final push, she fell limp on the bed and almost passed out, breathing.

As another baby uttered out it's first cry,  Dr. Hika cleaned off the child, clamped and cut the umbilical cord.
"It's a girl." Dr. Hika said, wrapping the baby in the purple blanket.

Atton was holding his new son in one arm, then he carefuly took the baby girl into another arm.

He happly tearing up as he returned to Marina's bedside with the twin babies in his arms.
Then Marina reached out and carefuly took her son into her arms.

"What shall we them?" Marina asked as she was holding her infant son in her arms.

"I'm going to name our daughter Anna. "Atton answeared, cradling his baby daughter.

Marina nodded. "Then in that case our son's name is Marvin"

"That's a sound name for our son." Atton smiled. Then he and Marina shared a kiss.

Chika smiled as she watched new parents take the time in the galaxy to bond with their
newborn son and daughter.
